Our current, one-size-fits-all, all-students-learn-in-the-same-way education system hasn’t worked for America for a long time – if ever. Launched in April of 2014, LEAP Innovations is a Chicago-based innovation hub that works directly with educators and innovators to discover, pilot and scale technologies and innovative teaching and learning practices that will drive us toward the future of education: personalized learning. LEAP Innovations is one-of-a-kind in the country, addressing both the supply and demand sides of education innovation – supporting educators by providing comprehensive professional development for personalized learning, as well as our Pilot Network, which is bringing edtech from across the world to classrooms in our city.
