Rapunzl

Rapunzl’s gamified financial literacy platform provides students with a real-time investment simulator to manage a $10,000 stock portfolio on their smartphones and Chromebooks. The app is paired with a comprehensive personal finance curriculum that is geared towards middle and high school students to help them unlock the world of finance and investing. Rapunzl’s innovation allows every student to access a comprehensive personal finance curriculum and build essential life skills to live a financially independent future. The program was designed to supplement an existing math course, whereas the high school curriculum has been designed to either supplement an existing business course, or provide a full-semester personal finance course. Over the past 4 years, Rapunzl has hosted a national scholarship competition on the investment simulator from January to April, attracting more than 150,000 students simulate their first stock portfolio and compete for over $50,000 in scholarship prizes.
