Over 22 million pounds of single use plastic entered the Great Lakes in 2020 alone.  REUSO reduces this waste through its reusable packaging platform, which empowers large volume food and beverage operators to serve meals in returnable cups and containers that can be commercially washed and then reused hundreds of times. What’s particularly unique about this innovation is REUSO’s technology system — it embeds tiny sensors in its reusable packaging to track usage of each individual item. This allows operators to maximize the usage of each cup and container to its full lifespan, and lets companies report metrics that link back to their companies stated sustainability goals.
