Girls In The Game

The Flagship Model is a version of Girls in the Game’s traditional After School program designed to allow participants to seamlessly transition through our programs and is utilized to get girls involved at a young age and keep them engaged as they grow into adults. The program serves elementary- and middle-school girls beginning in second grade and continuing through eighth grade when the girl has the opportunity to participate to our Teen Squad program when they move on to high school. This program is unique because it allows for increased leadership opportunities as the girl ages through our programs. Members of Teen Squad are trained to mentor the middle-school girls and in turn the middle-school girls coach the elementary-school girls at their school. By providing girls with the opportunity to grow with our programs, we are becoming integral parts of their upbringing and making significant impacts on their behavior and decisions in the future.
