New World Ventures is one of Chicago’s leading venture capital investors and has invested in over 50 companies since its founding in 1995 including Illinois-based TicketsNow, Sportvision, HyperQuest, Advantage Optics, Viewpoints Network, and BrightTag. J.B. is a founding board member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association, a founding director of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, a founder of the public/private Illinois Innovation Accelerator Fund, and a leading proponent of a stronger technology sector focus in the Midwest.
