Mycocycle
Mycocycle is a process that uses mycoremediation (mushrooms) to biodegrade high volume waste streams. Harnessing the power of nature, this process can mitigate toxin risks related to petrochemical containing materials, fibers, plastics, and organic matter. In approximately 4-weeks the mushrooms transform waste to a usable byproduct (MycoFiber © and MycoFill ©) allowing for material reuse into multiple applications: replacing plastics. Mycocycle’s process is circular in nature and improves traditional waste management by removing materials from being burned or buried as well as lowering the carbon related to waste activities. Mycocycle takes waste streams and creates value streams.
