TechRise by P33

We’re working to establish Chicago as the best city for Black and Latinx founders in the U.S. TechRise is a multi-stakeholder initiative to help close the chasm in funding and support for Black and Latinx Chicago tech founders and support them from idea stage to exit. Our $5 million grant fund will trigger up to $245 million in additional funding for Black and Latinx founders over the next decade through weekly virtual pitch competitions. We are focused on overcoming the barriers to getting to an MVP and initiating growth, including the lack of personal or network wealth, lack of knowledge about fundraising, and the lack of network of experienced founders.
