Vermilion & Let’s Talk Womxn

Women-owned restaurants are generally less supported financially than their male counterparts, and therefore more at risk of failure and closure than the average restaurant.  And Covid made everything worse.  But in the darkness of Covid, something wonderful and powerful emerged.  Founded in 2020, Let’s Talk Womxn is a growing movement for women restaurateurs to collaboratively scale, build visibility and boost each other’s businesses. Let’s Talk Womxn now includes over 700 women restaurant owners across 14 cities, and has begun expanding globally. In doing so, it not only boosts morale, but offers a never-before-seen network of resources for female restaurant owners.
